Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct research projects based on client requests.
• Gather data through experiments, interviews, and fieldwork.
• Analyse data using statistical tools for meaningful insights.
• Maintain accuracy in data collection, adhering to research standards.
• Prepare detailed reports and visually compelling presentations for internal/external use.
• Coordinate programme activities, manage logistics, and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines.
• Produce project proposals as requested.

Attitude and Skills:

• Strong time management skills and multitasking abilities.
• Self-initiated with excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a diverse team and cross-cultural settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Malaysian citizen with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken); must be willing to be based in Kuching, Sarawak.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, Social Work). A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Proficiency in research software and tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, NVivo).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
