Responsibilities:

• To adhere and enforce safety rules and procedures by adopting established safety code and practices and regulatory requirement to all employees working in safe and sound environment
• Conduct safety promotion, awareness with day-to-day monitoring and enforcement for safety procedures, rules and regulations to meet good safety standard
• Day to day permitting approval for hot work, confined space entry, excavation works and any related safety permitting
• Inspection of scaffolding, safety audits and other safety related activities
• Conduct SOC for contractors, project punch listing and follow up with completion items of outstanding items

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering from reputable university
• Attending SHO Course / Registered SHO
• 5 - 10 years experience in a petrochemical/ oil & gas/ heavy industry
• Competent in Safety & Health technical knowledge
• Well versed with OSHA legal requirements and other Industry Code of Practices

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
