Job Descriptions:
We are seeking a Space Systems Engineer specializing in Regulatory and Compliance. This role involves managing regulatory compliance for satellite operations and maintaining relationships with government agencies and regulators. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating national and international regulatory environments, especially within the telecommunications and satellite sectors.
Job Requirements:

• Engineering Bachelor Degree or higher in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Communication/RF, Computer, Mechatronic, Software or related fields.
• Familiarity with space industry related and engineering best practices, guidelines, regulations, and standards.
• Familiarity with ITU Radio Regulations and national regulatory bodies such as MCMC.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, preferably in the satellite or telecommunications industry.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail; ensuring compliance with ITU Radio Regulations in satellite network filings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
• Decision making ability and leadership skills.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Project management and supervision skills, if any.
• Proven work experience is an advantage.
• Registered Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the acquisition and renewal of essential licenses and permits from regulatory bodies (e.g., MCMC, ITU), including compliance reports for Network Service Providers (NSP) and Network Facilities Providers (NFP).
• Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and compliance audits related to satellite networks, ensuring adherence to ITU Radio Regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Mission Administration, Policy and Compliance team to ensure all relevant regulations, including those related to satellite mission administration and policy.
• Engage with governmental bodies, affiliated agencies, and internal stakeholders to foster strong relationships and facilitate discussions on regulatory matters.
• Participate in global frequency coordination discussions and meetings regulatory agencies, contributing to international regulations on spectrum allocation.
• Stay up to date with changes in regulatory requirements, ITU Radio Regulations, and industry standards related to the RF and spectrum operations.
