  • Liaise with local/Interco vendors, forwarder/transporter to update status for delivery status, PO price, country of origin, item details and open PO backlog.
  • Ensure the PO are properly captured, placed in the system and filing.
  • Expedite on custom clearance for all inbound shipments.
  • Update and monitor the transporter billings.
  • Work closely with Global Appointed Forwarding Agent
  • Verify and monitor freight accrual.
  • Verify transporter invoice, after the invoices approved by Operations Manager, submit to finance to process payment.
  • Supervise the shipping process for exporting finished goods including personnel preparing shipments to ensure process is conducted according to local and corporate procedures.
  • Create and process documents required for export or import goods. Create cargo manifestos. May have to determine corresponding transportation costs. Answers internal and external customer inquiries on exports or imports procedures.
  • Create invoices, as well as creating and issuing different Insurance Policies
  • Responsible for monitoring imports and exports.
  • Coordinate and assess transportation alternatives. Monitoring freight expenses for company, looking for alternative ways to control and lower costs
  • Support new projects expanding the services offered by the distribution center.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
