Tax Consultant - Senior

Job description

• Manage a portfolio of clients from various industries, compliance with tax submission deadlines
• Review work and preparation of tax computation (junior / senior)
• Ability to manage multiply tasks and priorities
• Research and consult on various tax matters
• Liaise with client, Inland Revenue Board and other regulatory body when required
• Any other job responsibilities as and when assigned by the Management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting or any professional qualification. Non-graduates/finalists with relevant working experience are encouraged to apply.
• Good working relationship with Customs and other relevant Government agencies, especially the Ministry of Finance, MIDA, MITI.
• Able to work independently and to deliver under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated, proactive and good interpersonal and communication skills
• Minimum 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience for senior position.
• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply for junior position.
• Senior position is open for tax compliance and tax advisory divisions including transfer pricing. Relevant training will be provided for tax advisory position.
• Highly organized and reliable with a strong sense of integrity and responsibility
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
