Position : Technician Electro/ Mechanical
Location : Kuala Lumpur
Working hours : Rotational shifts
Job Description/Responsibilities :
- Perform general assembly/disassembly, installation, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, repair and maintenance of mechanical/ E&E equipment or control system under the instructions of responsible engineer or supervisor, however with minimal supervision.
- Reviewing M&E procedures for accuracy of assembly, disassembly, and testing instructions.
- Perform measurement and marking of materials utilizing measuring device and hand tools.
- Repair printed circuit board down to component level using multi-meter, oscilloscope, soldering etc.
- Perform work according to written instructions and document completed task and result in written form.
- Carry out assigned task within the given schedule and time frame according to required standards and quality. Perform any other tasks that may be allocated by supervisor or engineers such as cleaning/ housekeeping or support of commissioning activities.
- Adhering to all work-site health, safety & environmental (HSE) rules and regulations, attend related safety training and successfully attaining the require qualification (e.g. Site Safety Induction, Confined Space, Work at Height, and others as required).
- SPM, Technical & Vocational Education Training (TVET) or equivalent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Profound general skill level and working experience as mechanical/ electrical technician and familiar with relevant techniques, handling manual tools and equipment as well as relevant requirements towards quality of work and safe working practices.
- Electrical/ Electronic hands-on knowledge and soldering work experience is preferred; experience with winding works (preferably generator) is an added advantage.
- Working experience in Oil & Gas, Power Utility, Petrochemical, Automotive, or Marine Industry is an added advantage.
- Able to converse and write in Basic English.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings for mechanical systems and electrical wiring diagrams (e.g. P&ID, SLD).
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Able to travel up to 90% of the time and willing to work on rotating shifts and overtime when required.
- Sound body and mind.
- Expected five (5) years of prior working experience in the related field.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
