- Managing Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio including preparing applications, amendments (if any), assignments, (transfer of ownership), Recordal of Change of Name and/or Address and up to renewal for trademarks, patents, and industrial designs;
- Partner’s secretary providing extensive assistance and support to the Intellectual Property & Corporate department of the firm;
- Responsible for various intellectual property matters including managing and billing of various local and international applications for trademarks, patents, and industrial designs as well as voluntary notification of copyright.
- Maintaining a Filing System Database (both electronic and papers); Deadlines Files Database; KIV Files Database;
- Sending routine reminders on outstanding bills;
- Arranging meetings or appointments for partner/ lawyer;
- Performing other related duties as assigned whenever necessary
- Years of experience :2-5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Required skill(s): Microsoft Office, Power Point and Excel
- Strong time management, detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Candidate must be passionate in self-growth and is willing to learn.
