Logistics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Logistic Specialist will be responsible for managing all customs paperwork and overseeing warehouse operations in Mexico. This role ensures the smooth handling of shipments, compliance with customs regulations, and efficient warehouse management. The Logistic Specialist will work closely with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and process customs documentation for all imports and exports, ensuring compliance with Mexican regulations.
· Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure the timely clearance of goods.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs laws, tariffs, and import/export regulations in Mexico.
· Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
· Ensure proper inventory management and stock control, utilizing warehouse management systems.
· Monitor and manage warehouse safety, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
· Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule shipments and optimize delivery timelines.
· Track and report on logistics performance metrics, including inventory levels, shipping times, and costs.
· Resolve any logistical or customs-related issues that may arise.
· Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, production, and finance to align logistics with business needs.
Qualifications:
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
· 3+ years of experience in logistics, customs clearance, and warehouse management.
· In-depth knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and import/export procedures.
· Strong understanding of supply chain processes, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
· Proficiency in warehouse management software and ERP systems.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
· Certification in customs or logistics
