We are looking for a Business Development Representative who can help us grow our client base and promote our agency. You will be responsible for identifying and contacting potential customers, qualifying them, and setting up appointments for our sales team. You will also be involved in outbound marketing campaigns, such as email, social media, and webinars, to generate interest and awareness of our services.
To be successful in this role, you need to be a self-starter with lots of energy and enthusiasm. You should have excellent communication and persuasion skills, as well as a good understanding of the b2b market and the challenges that our clients face. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to handle rejection and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers using various sources, such as Linked In, databases, referrals, etc.
- Reach out to prospects via phone, email, or social media, and deliver a compelling pitch of our agency and our value proposition.
- Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, authority, and timeline, and record them in our CRM system.
- Schedule appointments for qualified leads with our sales team and follow up with them until they are closed.
- Assist in the execution of outbound marketing campaigns, such as newsletters, webinars, case studies, etc., to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
- Track and measure the performance of your lead generation activities, and report on the results and insights.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in b2b marketing and lead generation.
- Proven experience as a lead generation specialist or a similar role in a marketing agency or a b2b company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to tailor your message to different audiences and channels.
- Strong persuasion skills, and the ability to overcome objections and handle rejections.
- Knowledge of b2b marketing strategies and techniques, such as inbound marketing, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, etc.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven, with a high level of initiative and creativity.
- Team player, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. Prefer candidates who have experience with CRM systems, such as Hub Spot and Apollo and other tools, such as Linked In Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Teams
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
