About the Team
The Product Engineering team is dedicated to maintaining new developments, projects, and current numbers updated, ensuring all necessary engineering for production. We work collaboratively with various departments such as cataloging, customer service, purchasing, production, and suppliers to support the plant in building the required parts. Our focus is on continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

What you can look forward to as Product Development Engineer:

• Control and manage all new brake pad introductions to the market.
• Collaborate with cataloging, customer service, purchasing, production, and suppliers.
• Facilitate and participate in new program quotations involving price reviews with cross-functional team members.
• Meet departmental KPIs by closing all process entries on time.
• Maintain updated internal databases of part numbers vs. market references and share with relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and drive cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure the Bill of Materials (BOM) is set up in the system and coordinate with direct purchasing to have suppliers for all components.
• Interpret and realize complex drawings, understand project scope and requirements, and discuss technical topics with stakeholders.
• Provide necessary support for engineering changes requested by Corporate and/or Clients.

Your Profile as Product Development Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• 4 years of experience in the automotive industry (brake pads knowledge desirable).
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Experience with Auto CAD, Inventor, MS Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word), Geomagic and Power BI are a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 45001-2018, and ISO 14001-2015 standards.
• Effective communication skills, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, and persuasion abilities.
• Problem-solving skills to find the best way to complete a project.
• Technical skills and knowledge about the automotive market.
