Du Pont Water Solutions (DWS) is a $1.4 Bn water technology leader, focused on solving global challenges in water purification, conservation and reuse. DWS serves its thousands of customers in diverse industries through four major market segments i.e. Residential/Commercial. Industrial, Municipal and Specialty using multiple technologies from its portfolio across major geographies of the world. As industrial growth is correlated to water scarcity and thus filtration needs.

The Technical Services Engineer provides technical expertise to customers in the areas of separation systems design, operation, products application and troubleshooting. Serves as a technical expert to sales professionals, distributors, consulting firms, customers and other internal/external partners. Helps translate product data into effective sales. Assists with regulatory and environmental product issues, product improvements, new applications, positioning of existing product offerings and new business or product developments. This role reports to the Latin America Technical services leader.

Requirements:

• Education: Engineering degree
• Experience with water treatment process design, plant operation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with separation technologies: Reverse Osmosis, Nanofiltration, Ion Exchange, MBR, Electrodeionization and Ultrafiltration
• Desired familiarity with design tools (WAVE, ROSA, ISD, IXCalc, CADIX, etc...) or competitive equivalent.
• Travel availability: 50% of time (Mexico, Colombia and Central America).
• Fluent in Spanish and English
