About the job
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Application Support Specialist to join our team in Casablanca (Morocco).
This role involves providing technical support and troubleshooting for various software applications, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance for our end-users. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities.
=>Key Responsibilities
  • Application Support: provide timely and effective technical support for software applications, addressing issues and resolving incidents to ensure minimal disruption to the business.
  • Issue Resolution: diagnose and troubleshoot software problems, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors as necessary to resolve issues.
  • User Training: conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of applications and improve their ability to utilize software effectively.
  • Documentation: create and maintain detailed documentation of application configurations, procedures, and support activities to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency.
  • Incident Management: follow established incident management processes, including logging, tracking, and escalating issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in application testing and deployment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

=>Education and experience
  • 2 to 3+ years of IT application support experience (or similar) using the indicated knowledge, skills and abilities to manage and maintain complex systems.
  • Experience in multiple OS platforms with strong emphasis on Linux
  • Degree Level or equivalent
=>Required competencies
  • Technical Skills: proficiency in troubleshooting software applications, knowledge of various operating systems, and familiarity with database management and networking concepts.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL and Pl/SQL and good experience in RDBMS (Oracle, SQL etc).
  • Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) & any ERP preferably Oracle EBS and/or SAP ECC6/B1/S4Hana.
  • Understanding of Power BI and dashboards
  • Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Problem-Solving: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop effective solutions.
  • Customer Service: a customer-focused attitude, with a commitment to providing high-quality support and fostering positive user experiences.
  • Teamwork: ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Proficient in English and French Languages
  • Must have a flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyand excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with and empathize with colleagues and customers from varied backgrounds and cultures.
Work location
320 Bd Zerktouni, Casablanca (Morocco) – Occasional Travel.
