You'll be part of a close-knit team of architects, collaborating closely with all relevant stakeholders within the Roles & Mandates domain. You'll also be a member of the Center of Expertise Architects at ING Domestic Bank Netherlands, where you'll occasionally work with global colleagues to ensure alignment across the organization. As the Domain Architect for Roles & Mandates, you'll hold the architectural responsibility for the application solutions within this domain. This critical area encompasses the applications that manage key customer processes, such as parental authority, guardianship, mandates for endorsers (including specific restrictions like joint signatures, limits, etc.), and integration with the Chamber of Commerce.
Key Responsibilities
As the Domain Architect, you will:

• Lead the Dutch Business and IT delivery teams in the design, coordination, and transition towards the target architecture.
• Define reference and transition architecture designs based on business requirements, guiding solution architects and engineers through the implementation process.
• Collaborate with business colleagues to understand and challenge requirements, working alongside Enterprise Architects, Platform Architects, other Domain Architects, IT Solutions Architects, IT managers, and Dev/Ops teams.
• Manage the transition from a complex mix of legacy systems and evolving global applications towards a more streamlined target application landscape, enhancing our customer offerings.
• Ensure the architecture is loosely coupled, scalable, and adaptable within an Agile Scrum framework, balancing feasibility with strategic goals.
• Proactively step beyond your domain to achieve broader organizational outcomes.

• Experience in anticipating Risk, Security, and Reliability requirements, embedding these considerations into architectural designs.
• Familiarity with agile development principles is highly preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
