As part of our team, you’ll transform global Wholesale Banking activities into financial records that meet the latest regulatory and tax standards. You’ll tackle challenges from new products, regulatory changes, and process improvement requests, analyzing their impact and designing, testing, and implementing solutions.
In this role, you'll be a key player in driving front-to-end initiatives, acting as the single point of contact for Finance. You’ll assess processes, manage change releases, and ensure business needs are met. Together with your squad members you do everything within your power to realise your common mission day by day. More specifically, this can contain one of the following activities:
- Translation of business needs into Finance user and stakeholder needs [requirements];
- Act as single point of contact in front-to-end initiatives;
- Coordinate and facilitate activities on squad / tribe and/or program level;
- You support the product owner and the squad in managing the backlog by translating epics into features and, together with the squad, into user stories;
- Information/data analysis: you analyze the necessary input, output, and adjustment of data in the end user processes. You analyze the information need. You investigate the quality of captured data and come up with solutions to improve quality;
- Implement and maintain the controls related to minimum accounting standards;
- Supporting strategic initiatives to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner – e.g. by executing functional, acceptance and migration testing;
- Translate (solution) designs into IT solutions by closely working together with IT;
Your education, experience and skills:
- You Possess a University (Master’s) degree in (Management) Accounting & Control, Business IT, Accountancy or (Business) economics – having an exceptional academic track record is a plus;
- More than five years experience within the financial industry;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Affinity with IT and innovation;
- Affinity with the GPC landscape is a plus;
- Understanding and knowledge of the banking processes;
- Affinity with complex lending products and or trade finance products is a plus;
- Knowledge of (Product) Accounting concepts;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with your (international) stakeholders;
- Knowledge of the Agile way of working is a plus;
- You actively ask for help and feedback and are not afraid to give feedback;
- Proactive attitude;
- Has a customer focus and is result driven;
- Team player but also capable of working independently;
- Good communication skills in oral and written English.
What we offer:
- Initial 12-month contract with the possibility of extension
- 36-hour work week
- Salary range: €5.060,00 - €7.000,00 gross per month
- Holiday payments and 13th month
- Full pension according to Dutch temporary labour CLA
- Option to transition to a permanent contract for this position
- Hybrid working (in-office and remote)
