Job description
As the first point of contact for questions about drives systems of (inter) national customers, you translate technical specifications into practical solutions. Based on these technical specifications, you will look for suitable solutions. What are the dimensions of the panel box, what exactly should it be able to do and what will it do in the end? You start with a general overview of all requirements and translate this into various modules. Then you design the panel cabinet layout and associated electrical engineering diagrams.
In addition, you will draw up installation specifications, create clear operating manuals, analyze project bottlenecks and test new designs for specifications, regulations and inspection requirements. You have an extensive library of technical drawings at your disposal, which you can use, maintain and complete.
You will work in a team of electrical, mechanical and automation Engineers who work with Solid Works and E-Plan. But Van Meer is also responsible for commissioning customers on location, which is why you often have contact with your Field colleagues. You pick up larger projects together with a colleague or the entire team, you do smaller projects completely independently. In addition to designing and drawing, you prepare material lists and make work instructions for the workshop. For more complex projects you also make calculations and possible simulations.
What are you bringing?
For the position of Electrical Engineer, you have an eye for detail, which helps you ensure that everything is correct and appropriate!
