You are an analytically strong financial with a critical mindset who wants to be part of the Financial Controlling team in the heart of our financial operation. You have a couple of years’ experience in a similar financial role, preferably in an international environment and ideally within the Retail business. You fit into a team of 7 Controllers, together you know the ins and outs of the whole international organization and report to both internal and external stakeholders. With a specific interest in accounting principles (IFRS and Dutch GAAP) and you make sure we are always compliant. You are enthusiastic to help our fast-growing and changing organization to advance and to constantly challenge our current ways of working with the aim to improve and automate our processes.

As a Financial Accountant you will be part of the Finance team within stichd headquarters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and you will report to the Manager Accounting & Control. • You support the Financial Controller Retail with preparation and analysis of financial data;
• Coordinate financial processes for F1 Grand Prix Trackside Retail, like coordination and alignment of the cash carriers, make sure we comply with local tax requirements, setup of the different bank accounts and payment providers as well as the financial setup of new races;
• You will be responsible for specific P&L and balance sheet accounts per F1 Grand Prix and you will take care of the monthly (recurring) journal entries for the F1 Retail business;
• You will liaise with the various departments, especially the Formule 1 Trackside Retail Team within the company to achieve the above;
• You will work with your colleagues to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, resolving discrepancies and irregularities noted;
• You will be responsible for the financial administration of 2 legal entities including local financial compliance;
• You will setup and maintain balance sheet specifications, such as suspense accounts incoming payments, and ensure that these specifications are up-to-date;
• You will have an important supporting role during the year- end group audit, such as providing documentation for various tests, coordinating of balance confirmations;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and the financial administration.

• HBO, Bachelor or Master degree in Finance – Business Economics;

• Experience in SAP is a pre;
• You have experience and/or affinity in Retail business
• Good command of writing and speaking in Dutch and English language is a must.
