ASL Group is established in 1997 and operates mainly non-scheduled charter flights under it’s three AOC’s. Together we manage a fleet of more than 50 aircraft and 18 different types operating worldwide.

We are looking for a Flight Dispatcher to reinforce our OCC team in Netherlands working from Rotterdam Airport. All ASL Group flights are prepared and dispatched from this location. Jet Netherlands BV (part of ASL Group NV) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Flight Dispatcher to join our operations team. As a Flight Dispatcher you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, legal, and efficient planning and monitoring of flight operations in coordination with pilots and ground staff. Your role plays a critical part in flight safety and requires strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and file flight plans in accordance with aviation regulations, weather conditions, and air traffic control guidelines.

• Collaborate with pilots and crew to ensure safe and efficient routes, fuel loads, and contingency plans.

• Monitor real-time flight operations, weather conditions, crew flight time limitations, and other factors that could impact the flight's safety and efficiency.

• Provide pilots with accurate and up-to-date information regarding weather, airport conditions, alternate routes, and other flight-related information.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and company policies.

• Coordinate with ground crew, air traffic controllers, and maintenance teams to ensure the smooth operation of flights.

• Communicate any flight delays, changes, or cancellations to relevant parties.

• Perform risk assessments and manage potential disruptions to flight schedules.

• Arrangement of handling, airport slots, overflight and landing permits, fuel and other flight relevant tasks for our adhoc charter flights.

Ervaring

• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, ICAO) and air traffic control procedures.

• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in flight planning software and other aviation systems.

• Strong understanding of weather patterns and how they impact flight safety and planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous work experience of two years in the business aviation sector as a Flight Dispatcher or similar role.

• Knowledge of international flight operations, long-haul dispatching and aircraft performance.

• Proficiency in specific flight dispatch software, such as PPS Air Support, CFMU NOP Portal and Performance software.

• A valid Flight Dispatcher Certification (e.g., FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, ATPL or equivalent).
