Your Mission
The Full Stack Software Engineer has a keen eye for problem-solving and requirements gathering and most importantly has strong software design, implementation, delivery and maintenance skill set. They are a team player that knows how to work with and is motivated by team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, testing and monitoring new features and functionalities to the platform.
• Responsible for full life-cycle development, front-end to back-end, Java to Javascript.
• Perform all roles in the Dev Sec Ops cycle to deliver fit for purpose solutions to production.
• Identify and improve systems and features in our platform with an eye towards customer experience.
• Provide technical support to our sales, operations and compliance teams.
• Be accountable to your team for the software lifecycle and report to leadership on project status and blockers.

Requirements

• 8+ years’ hands-on experience in Software Engineering
• Experience in the Payments industry is ideal
• 3+ years working in Java and Typescript/Javascript
• Experience working Microservice Architectures and Event Driven Data Flows
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Spring, Vue.js, Gitlab and Kubernetes are a plus
• Experience working in an Agile environment like Scrum and Kanban
• Experience in designing secure applications and awareness of security implications from design to implementation phase of project.
• Experience with performance analysis, profiling and optimization.
• High initiative, self-motivation and drive to exceed expectations.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team based environment.
• Fluent oral and written English language skills - extra languages are a plus!
• A great sense of humor!
