Position Information

Job Title: Maintenance Buyer and Scheduler

Work Hours: 4/5 days per week (on-site) – negotiable

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Department: Administration / Technical

Location: Tilburg, Netherlands

Languages: Fluent Dutch and professional English

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Buyer and Scheduler, you will be responsible for the daily management of maintenance systems, including planning preventive maintenance activities, sourcing indirect materials to ensure timely repair and upkeep of equipment, and managing supplier payments via the purchase order process. This is an excellent role for a graduate with a technical background, looking to develop their career in a dynamic production environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Power Point)
Experience or familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, MVP One, or Infor M3
Exposure to or experience in a manufacturing environment (internships or placements welcome)
Technical/maintenance background or understanding of technical components
Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

Experience in the food production industry (internship or work experience)
ERP superuser experience

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing machine/maintenance parts and placing orders through an ERP system
Issuing purchase orders to suppliers
Ensuring availability of spare parts and adherence to maintenance budgets
Managing daily replenishment of maintenance parts
Overseeing preventive maintenance systems within ERP
Reporting on preventive maintenance activities via KPIs
Scheduling preventive maintenance tasks, with support from your direct supervisor
