• Serve as the ASICS Europe Group SME for product and environmental trade compliance.

• Track chemical, physical, environmental, waste and labelling laws and regulations for ASICS EMEA geographies and work with various regional teams.

• Be actively involved with ASICS' Legal, Sustainability, and Product Category Teams in advocacy revolving around emerging legislation, taking a leading role in the broad area of product and environmental trade compliance.

• Drive regional corrective actions (e.g. recalls, relabelling) in close collaboration with the distribution team.

• Participate actively in industry associations, monitor and keep stakeholders apprised of emerging product and environmental trade compliance trends.

• Ensure that technical files and certificates are available and fit for purpose for products requiring them (e.g., Personal Protective Equipment), for EMEA markets’ regulatory and import and export activities.

• Monitor ASICS' responsibilities under national and/or European lifecycle assessment programmes and support related functional teams as needed.

• Lead the Extended Producer Responsibilities Reporting including waste and textiles reporting obligation, in all countries covered by the ASICS Europe Group.

• Advise ASICS business involving product and environmental trade compliance issues and other topics of relevance impacting trade and distribution.

• Qualification in relevant field.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in product and environmental trade compliance or product quality management, preferably within the apparel/footwear sector.

• In-depth knowledge of the global product compliance landscape.

• In-depth understanding of environmental trade compliance and regulatory and reporting obligations.

• Must be fluent in English – speaking and writing – additional languages are a plus.
