Job Summary

Support students in developing research and information literacy skills for CCM curriculum and lifelong learning; provide research services and resources for students, faculty, staff, and the community. Provide research tutoring/reference services. Plan and teach research instruction sessions. Promote and market Library services. Serve as liaison to selected academic departments. Evaluate and select materials for collection. May supervise support staff and/or student assistants. Participate in college and Library initiatives as needed.

Qualifications - Education

ALA accredited MLS or MLIS

Qualifications - Experience

3-5 years of relevant library experience. Teaching or training experience preferred.

Qualifications - Skills

Strong public service and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to use a variety of technology applications including ILS and library technology.

Work Hours

Monday-Friday, varied hours between 8:30-5:00. Occasional Saturdays on a fill-in basis. Flexibility required to teach evening classes as needed.
