Overview:Git Hub helps companies and organizations succeed by allowing them to build better software, together. We're looking for a Solutions Engineer, Corporate in the Netherlands to provide technical sales support for our Corporate team customer base which includes Digital Sales and SMB ( Small to Medium-sized Businesses).


Our Solutions Engineers are responsible for the technical relationships with customers and prospects, working as trusted advisors to remove technical objections and creatively address pain points in a customer's SDLC. They will work internally with sales and product development teams to identify solutions that meet customers' business needs and document requests to expand the capabilities of Git Hub's platform.

Responsibilities:Support Customer Engagements:
  • Learns to identify customer needs and issues through data gathering. Develops and uses knowledge of customer context and solution or portfolio expertise to build credibility with customers. Achieves technical and/or business wins by independently driving technical discussions with customers. Improves customer interactions through feedback and observation. Engages other resources, leveraging basic resource knowledge, for key areas of technology as needed to address technical blockers on assigned technology set.


Build Strategy:

  • Gains competitive insights from customer sessions with colleagues and escalates competitive situations to influence compete strategies. Provides technical input based on Git Hub or related Microsoft capability at the account level to contribute to strategy development. Tailors Git Hub messaging to audience and captures and
shares customer feedback using knowledge of specific Git Hub or related Microsoft solutions and their context in a competitive landscape.


Solution Design and Proof:

  • Supports demonstrations (e.g.,, webinars, product demonstrations, proof of concept [POC] sessions) of solutions based on specific Git Hub products through initial engagements. Aligns product strategy/capabilities to customer desired business outcomes. Learns about sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC).


Education:

  • Consumes readiness materials to expand domain knowledge and applies accordingly when communicating with customers, partners, internal stakeholders, and industry experts to improve product awareness. Participates as a member in the Git Hub tech community, attends community calls, sessions, hackathons, etc.


Accelerating Product Revenue (Sales):

  • Supports collaborative efforts with internal stakeholders at Git Hub and Microsoft to identify strategies for new opportunities. Helps develop, target, and host marketing events in order to broaden product/solution awareness and knowledge of product/solution capabilities. Learns to track key metrics indicating customer success rate in product-specific adoption and helps create solutions applicable to identified gaps. Generates revenue that meets Git Hub’s product-specific goals. Learns to identify and reduce churn and contraction.
Qualifications:Required Qualifications:
  • Several years experience in sales, pre-sales, technical consulting, or related field
    • o OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field AND experience in sales, pre-sales, technical consulting, or related field
    • o OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience selling Developer Automation, Artificial Intelligence, CICD, Metered Developer Tools, Dev Ops, Application Security, or Dev Sec Ops solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting multiple reps/regions/geos as a product specialist.
  • Has business-level proficiency in at least one of the following languages: German, Dutch, French, or Spanish.
