Job Summary
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will lead efforts in supplier relationships, negotiation strategies, and quality assurance. Your expertise will drive cost efficiencies while maintaining the high standards synonymous with the brand. You will collaborate with diverse teams and streamline in supply chain for unparalleled operational excellence. Furthermore, you get the following responsibilties:

• Develop appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
• Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
• Work directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
• Monitor and correct inventory levels at outside warehouse and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
• Work with freight forwards and transportation companies to set best route and rate.
• Collaborate with the procurement department to determine best practice for freight in and freight consolidation.
• Supports proper utilization of ERP system (Planning Edge, Accellos).

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of supply chain, logistics in a similar position, preferably within airline catering or similar industries.
• Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
• Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Strong sense of time management
• Able to work independently and within a team

A VGB screening is required to be allowed to work at Schiphol. This screening takes about 4 weeks. For this, you need to fulfil the following requirements:

• You have not been in contact with the police or the judiciary
• You have been living in the Netherlands for at least 8 years
