Alliance Manager

The Far North Waters Alliance is a collaboration between Ventia and the Far North District Council. The Alliance is tasked with the operation and maintenance of the Council’s water-related assets and infrastructure.
You
We are looking for an experienced leader who understands how to build and maintain collaborative B2B relationships, preferably in maintenance and/or industrial environments. Experience of managing Water or Utilities infrastructure will be an advantage, as would the winning and delivery of capital projects. You will need to demonstrate you are equipped for the challenges of managing a programme that includes asset and infrastructure planning and management, capital works tenders and delivery, operation and maintenance of treatment plans, pump stations and water networks.
- Experience at Contract or Business management level.
- Excellent relationship management skills. Alliance or JV experience is a strong preference
- Experience in the management of annual budgets between $15m and $20m
- A track record of commercial success in a comparable environment
- A continuous improvement mentality and the ability to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost reduction
- Experience in maintenance management, running competitive tenders, and delivering capital projects will be well regarded
- High EQ communication style
