Due to a promotion, an exciting opportunity exists to join Nestlé, the world’s leading food and beverage company, as part of the New Zealand Marketing Team working within a dynamic, collaborative and supportive environment that embraces diversity and flexibility.
As a Brand Manager – Starbucks by Nespresso, you will work with some of our most well known and loved global brands in the coffee capsule space (Starbucks including Ready to Drinks Starbucks, Nescafé Farmers Origins, Nescafé Dolce Gusto), playing a pivotal role in the development and execution of the New Zealand marketing plans which encompass both consumer & shopper fronts as well as working with a high performing & growing team.
A day in the life…
Reporting to the Marketing Manager –Coffee, you will be joining at an exciting time as you will be putting together strong plans to drive our ambitious category growth in New Zealand which will include:

Creating and implementing growth strategies for the brands - Accountable for category and brand performance of portfolio
- End to end management of innovation & renovation projects
- Planning, implementing, and delivering compelling brand and shopper integrated campaigns
- Cross functional team engagement to ensure flawless execution of plans in market
- Review and optimise brand, portfolio & campaign performance based on data and insights
- Development of the 3-year brand strategy leveraging best in class consumer insights to build effective communication and launch successful innovation in collaboration with the cross-functional team
- Responsible for defining the selection of the target market and develop an inspiring consumer portrait
- Lead overall business needs for consumer, category and shopper insights, to convert into meaningful local strategies
- Build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders with leadership members across AU & NZ to ensure alignment on plans
- Review and optimise brand, portfolio & campaign performance based on data and insights

You thrive in a demanding, fast paced team environment - Degree qualified in Marketing, Business Management, or other related fields
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in FMCG Brand Management
- Demonstrated experience across product and brand through NPD launches, range planning
- Strong project management skills
- Significant interpersonal, networking and relationship skills with a proven ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Previous experience in a matrixed organisation with a diverse local cross-functional team and Global stakeholders preferred
- A strong ability to understand insights and translate into innovative plans
- Articulate, inspiring communication verbal and through presentation to bring others on the journey
- Proven ability to develop talent, adapting coaching style and approach to the needs of the individual
