CAREGIVER – ULTIMATE CARE BISHOP SELWYN

The Ultimate Care Group is a privately owned Specialist Residential Aged Care Services Provider. We offer rest home, hospital, and dementia care to the elderly in 19 residential facilities throughout New Zealand.

We have permanent part time Caregiver opportunity at one of our largest Facilities. In a tranquil garden setting is Ultimate Care Bishop Selwyn - well-established in the community with a fabulous reputation for its care. It offers a mixture of villas, studios and a range of care levels in our rest home and hospital. Well situated, within a short distance of the city and local malls.

The Role:

• Minimum of 16 hours per week
• Providing a friendly and supportive service
• Personal cares
• Helping with general activities in daily living
• Housework
• The nature of this business requires 24 hour cover 7 days a week so weekend work will be required.

About You:

• At least 1-2 years caregiving experience
• Knowledge of the Health & Disability Sector Standards
• Experience in the Aged Care industry preferred
• Previous experience in delivery of care services
• Empathy and commitment to excellence in care of the elderly
• Possesses a can do attitude
• Honesty, reliability and integrity
