Experion Care NZ is a growing Age Care operator in NZ. We have a number of exciting opportunities for a Casual caregiver to join our team at Bardowie Retirement Complex. We are proud that Bardowie Retirement Complex currently holds a 3-year certification from the Ministry of Health, which points towards the professionalism of our management and staff, and our quality systems.

About the Role
We are looking for a Casual Caregiver for Bardowie Retirement Complex, Napier.
As a successful candidate, you must have a certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent) and/or at least 2 years' experience in caregiving, have empathy for the elderly and be dedicated to making our rest home a wonderful place to live and work.
About you

Experience preferred but not essential.

Capable of managing challenging behaviours.

Good communication and listening skills.

Must be available for Night Shift, if needed.

High energy, enthusiasm and a team player.

Be Flexible and have a reliable transport.

Be punctual, reliable and honest.

Key skills required:

Dynamic and team player.

Good communication skills.

Computer literate.

You must be empathetic but also firm and resilient.

Be able to engage with family and be culturally sensitive.

All applicants must have a valid work visa, New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
