Certified Drainlayer
Our client is aspiring to be the best civil contractor in complex 3-water drainage, earthworks and civil works projects for private and public customers in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. About the role
As a Drainlayer you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems. The role requires a strong understanding of site plans, precise use of tools and machinery. This role demands physical fitness, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship on every job.
Your responsibilities will include

• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job
• Be able to read plans with the ability to deliver the project on time
• Excavate trenches, laying pipes, and connecting fittings
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery (excavators, rollers, loaders, etc.)

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of New Zealand experience
• Certified Drainlayer Ticket
• A clean class 1 or 2 NZ Driver’s License, WTR Endorsements advantageous
• Must have own reliable transport
• Undergo and pass all pre-employment checks
• Strong work ethic, and able to work well in a team environment
