What you will be doing:
- Pipe Laying: Handle up to 2.1m diameter pipes at depths of up to 4m
- Excavation Work: Ensure trenches are excavated to the correct design width, depth, and grade
- Safety First: Ensure all trenches are benched, battered, or shored based on ground conditions
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Site Engineers and Supervisors regarding materials and site needs
- Skilled Labouring: Assist with site activities, including excavator operations (experience preferred)
- Compliance: Adhere to all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards

PGDB Registered & Licensed Drainlayer
- Experience: 5-10 years in heavy civils/construction
- Driver’s License: Full Class 1 driver’s license required
- Depth Experience: Proven experience laying pipes at depths of 4m
- Trench Shield Installation: Demonstrable experience with installing trench shields and safe access methods
- Shoring & Wet Conditions: Experience working in challenging ground conditions
- Excavator Skills: Competency on excavators is a plus, but not essential
- Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail: Strong skills in troubleshooting and meticulous execution
- Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills
