Child and Adolescent Community Mental Health Clinician – Kari Centre
  • We are looking for Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Nurses, Psychotherapists and Clinical Psychologists to join our Team at the Kari Centre
  • Permanent full time (40 hours) or part time (24 hours minimum) opportunities based at Greenlane Clinical Centre, working Monday to Friday
  • Use your skills and knowledge to improve health outcomes for young people.

We offer comprehensive internal and external training packages, including formal post-graduate training, to support both new staff in skill development and experienced clinicians in further honing their expertise.
We are seeking a Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, Psychotherapist, or Clinical Psychologist to join our Partnership/Community team. As part of our team, you'll use your skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality assessment and goal based therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and their whānua. You'll work across a range of presentations, supporting the mental health needs of rangatahi in our community.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
  • To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced registered Social Worker/Occupational Therapist / Mental Health Nurse / Psychotherapists or Clinical Psychologist with a current NZ Registration and practicing certificate.
  • Our ideal candidate will also have previous experience working with children and Youth within a mental health setting, work well as part of a team and under pressure.
  • As this is a community role, a full and clean driver’s licence is required.

We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand.
