Based at our Penrose branch, the Claims Officer works within our Admin team to quickly and efficiently investigate, process, and resolve claims for our customers. It is crucial that you have a high focus on attention to detail and are dedicated to accuracy, as in this role you’ll be analysing situation factors to ensure accurate resolution of claims. You’ll be in touch with claimants, contractors, and our Operations and Customer Services teams during investigations, so this is a greatly varied role – a chance to collaborate across teams and make impact both internally and on customers.
- To process and approve claims, in accordance with the Company’s Conditions of Carriage
- Assist customers, branches and other departments with follow up of claim enquiries
- Ensure all targets are achieved and claims are processed accurately
- Updating & accurate recordkeeping of damaged and mystery freight
- Assisting in reconciling monthly accounts
- You’ve got exceptional organisational skills
- You have a customer-centric focus in all you do
- You have experience in administration – highly regarded
- You demonstrate computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
