About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated administrator to join our friendly and supportive General Surgery team at Waitematā District Patient Service Centre.
The purpose of this role is to manage referrals, waiting lists and book surgery for patients requiring services offered at North Shore Hospital, Elective Surgery Centre & Waitākere Hospitals.
This includes working with nurses and doctors to plan and schedule appointments and patient’s surgery events efficiently and effectively to ensure optimal utilisation of the service provided to the public within the Waitematā District.

As the first point of contact for our patients, it is essential that you have

excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
ability to promote a professional image whilst providing excellent customer service.
empathy and have the desire to help those around you
