Maintenance Administrator - New Plymouth

Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
Our Maintenance Administrators are responsible for ensuring property maintenance work is being processed and collated in, and on time. Having a background in facilities maintenance administration, being able to prioritise and multitask across varied requests would be ideal for this role.
You will be working closely with other Kāinga Ora staff, our customers, and our maintenance partners, so great communication skills are a must!
This role is to cover parental leave from 10/10/2024 - 10/10/2025
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Proven experience working with high volume systems work, including processing of jobs, invoices and orders in our systems
  • Existing facilities maintenance knowledge, coupled with the ability to understand and apply processes and systems
  • Administrative support experience at an intermediate or advanced level, gained in a busy team environment
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight timeframes
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sound decision making skills and the ability to be diplomatic when dealing with stakeholders
