Gore District Council is looking for a full-time Community Connections Team Lead for the Gore and Mataura Library and Service Centre.
In this role, no day is the same. Overseeing the Community Connections Team and the Mataura Library and Service Centre you will ensure that our activities and events are well planned and meet the needs of our communities. You will also ensure seamless customer service between our two libraries and mentor and lead your team with empathy and professionalism.
We are looking for someone who

• Has worked with the community before, running activities and events.
• Has mentored and led a team before.
• Shows great initiative and can build relationships with people from all walks of life.
• Has excellent technology skills.
• Has enthusiasm for learning new things and putting them into practice.
• Is passionate about libraries and what they can do for a community.

Having experience working in a library is desirable but not a must. So if you think you have the skills above, then we would love to hear from you.
