Job Description:
Joining our kitchen team means you will play a crucial role in the heart of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes, adhering to specific recipes and quality standards.
• Ensuring ingredients and supplies are stocked and fresh, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Managing time efficiently to meet service deadlines.
• Assisting with inventory management and supplier orders.
• Continuously learning and applying new cooking techniques and trends.

Requirements:

• NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent OR at least one year of relevant experience.
• A culinary school diploma is preferred but not required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• A commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team spirit, with a positive attitude towards collaboration and feedback.
• No Drug and No Smoking Policy to be followed at all times.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
