Cook Wanted

Work Location: New Plymouth
Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week) permanent.
Our pay: $29.66 - $31 per hour depending on experience.

We are a long established and busy Chinese Fusion restaurant in New Plymouth

To meet increasing community needs we are now looking for 1 Cook to join our team. We are expecting someone who are team players and are multi-tasking.

At least 2 years relevant work experience, preferrably relavant to Asian cuisine

Tasks Include:

• Assist the chef in the preparation and cooking of food as required
• Follow direction toward portion control cooking standards and wastage
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet the restaurant’s standards
• Assist in planning and revising menus as needed, incorporating seasonal ingredients and dietary considerations.
• Check and manage inventory of ingredients, including ordering and storing supplies to maintain kitchen efficiency.
