COOKs Wanted

Work Location: New Plymouth
Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week) permanent.
Our pay: $29.66 - $31 per hour depending on experience.

We are a newly established and busy Chinese Restaurant in New Plymouth. We have two stores located at bell block and blagdon.

To meet increasing community needs we are now looking for 2 Cooks to join our team. We are expecting someone who are team players and are multi-tasking.

You must have a minimum of two years experience. Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens.

Tasks Include:

• Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the restaurant
• Seasoning food during preparation and cooking when necessary
• Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation cooking and presentation
• Store unused food and material in proper way
• Assisting in improving dishes quality
• Assisting in managing the overall operation of kitchen
• Assisting in ordering supplies and stocks
• Ensuring kitchen’s operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations
