Key Responsibilities:
- Effective and consistent communication of AUT's story to key internal and external audiences through efficient use of media channels (including web, social media, the intranet and video)
- Writing and photography for AUT's communications channels
- Development and execution of communications projects and plans
- Assist with internal videography and editing to support communications objectives
- Monitoring and reporting
- Identify, design and deploy social media content to support the work of the Faculty Communications team
- University degree in Communications
- A minimum two years' experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and understanding of the NZ media scene and how the media works
- Experience with smartphone/i Phone and other video production skills, including lighting, framing, camera use as well as editing and postproduction skills
- Experience with events management
- Experience with relationship management and networking
