The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a dayshift Die-Setter to join our plastics department. We run 5 days, 24 hours, so a team player is essential to ensure smooth transition.
Problem solving will be part of your everyday work and with effective teamwork and support, it will provide the best outcome for your customers with focus on “Lean” manufacturing tools and skills.

The Fit
The person we are looking for is someone who’s looking to succeed not only for themselves but for the team, with a desire to always look for continuous improvements. You’ll also have prior experience in extrusion or injection-moulding.
We have a vested interest in the highest quality, so you will also have:

• Trade certificate in a plastics engineering process
• Prior Die-setting experience in an injection moulding and manufacturing plant
• Ability to work with a broad range of ancillary items, plastics tooling and polymers
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing
• Use of SMED and problem-solving tools
• Great people skills - a team player & not afraid to get stuck in
