About the opportunity
We're looking for a Group Accountant to join our Group Reporting team based at our Global Hub in Ellerslie (Auckland). This is an exciting career opportunity to transition from professional services into an in-house, global accounting role.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensure that the Group and its subsidiaries comply with all accounting standards
Assist with monthly consolidations for the T&G Group
Complete variance analysis and resolve issues with trial balances
Contribute to the preparation of the T&G Group annual and half year reports
Assist with reporting to the T&G Group’s overseas parent company
Internal and external financial reporting, auditor liaison, and ad-hoc projects

About you

Degree qualified in Accounting
CA qualified, or working towards your CA
Previous experience in a Big 4 environment preferred
Knowledge of IFRS and its business application
Experience in multi-company consolidations, and interpretation of financial reports
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial accounting system skills
