He Pia Māori Strategy & Insights Intern
We are looking for an inquisitive and talented individual that has a strong background and understanding of Te Ao Māori. You will be assisting us with a calling campaign to gather feedback from ākonga on our te reo Māori offerings as part of our continuous improvement process. This role is a fixed term 8-week position.
Mō te tūnga | About the role

Ensuring that interviews and interactions with ākonga are guided by tikanga
Ensuring that all discussions are mana enhancing and prioritises the manaakitanga of ākonga
Transcribing interview scripts
Qualitatively and quantitatively analysing data
Writing summary reports
Adhoc analysis of internal and external data as requested
Sharing the calling campaign results with our Te Kuratini Pae Tata forum

Ngā pūkenga o te tūnga | What skills you will bring to the role

Knowledge, understanding and experience of Te Ao Māori is essential
Knowledge, understanding and experience of Te Reo Māori is preferred
The ability to engage and uphold the mana of others
Fantastic customer service skills
Confidence speaking on the telephone and asking specific questions
Strong computer and Microsoft 365 skills
Team player
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
