At Counties Manukau District, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are currently seeking a dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our dynamic team of skilled nurses in our General Surgical Ward.

Role Overview:
As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering both clinical and non-clinical care. You'll assist our Registered Nurses with daily tasks, contributing to our mission of providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain excellent organization and prioritization in your tasks.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients and their families.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Health Care Assistant Level 4 Certificate or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a hospital environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English.
