Inwards Goods Store Person - NW Stonefields

Tasks:
- Unloading trucks and delivery vans
- Marking off all products that come through the back door ensuring the quantities received match the pick slips / invoices.
- Placing stock appropriately in the correct locations ensuring appropriate stock rotation.
- Ensuring the store room is kept clear of rubbish and blockages at all times allowing for clear access.
- Ensuring the inwards goods area is clean, tidy, and well-organized, undertaking additional housekeeping as required (e.g. sweeping the floors, dealing with spillages and breakages, cleaning shelves etc.)
- Operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Processing all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Following health and safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment
- Assisting in other areas of the store as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a storeperson or similar role
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Forklift license preferred.
