Service: Nutrition & Food Service
Contract: Permanent, Part Time and Full-time positions available
Korero mō te tūranga| About the role
We are looking for a kitchen assistant (2) to join our busy kitchen, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Your responsibilities will include meal service, food preparation, dishwashing and general cleaning.
Key responsibilities:
  • To work collegially with the team of kitchen assistants and cooks
  • To ensure the kitchen is organised and maintained in accordance with personal hygiene standards and food control plan at all times
  • Customer service
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and thoroughly
  • Collaborate with the team to uphold a high standard of food quality and presentation
On the job training will be provided.

  • You have previous food service experience
