Service: Nutrition & Food Service

Contract: Permanent, Part Time and Full-time positions available

Korero mō te tūranga| About the role

We are looking for a kitchen assistant (2) to join our busy kitchen, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Your responsibilities will include meal service, food preparation, dishwashing and general cleaning.

Key responsibilities:

To work collegially with the team of kitchen assistants and cooks
To ensure the kitchen is organised and maintained in accordance with personal hygiene standards and food control plan at all times
Customer service
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and thoroughly
Collaborate with the team to uphold a high standard of food quality and presentation

On the job training will be provided.

You have a food safety certificate
You have previous food service experience
