About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi

Crawford Street Distribution Centre collects a third of all Fonterra’s dairy ingredients in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions, distributing more than 33,000 containers of various products a year!

As our Forklift Driver/Storesperson, you will have lots of variety from unloading and loading trucks inwards/outwards goods, stocktaking and the general day to day running of a busy Distribution Centre. This is a full time, permanent position working 4-day shifts on and 4 off, where you will have the opportunity to work with new equipment and technology as well as develop your skills in our large store.

We are looking for somebody who has exceptional organisational and time management skills, to contribute to our Store being tidy with the right products being available on time and in the right condition. Whether you’re an experienced Storeperson or someone keen to develop your skills in a Stores environment, you’ll understand the importance of adhering to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that you and our team go home safe every day.

About you | Ko wai koe

We are looking for someone who is a pro-active self-starter with drive, ambition and takes pride in their work. We want to hear from you if you have:

Forklift experience with an F endorsement and current OSH certificate.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
Be physically fit - our products are not always light and can weigh up to 25kg.
Resilient and great can-do attitude with a strong health and safety focus.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with people from a range of backgrounds.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to enter data into computerised systems, SAP experience would be advantageous.
