Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all sample-taking methods and practices are undertaken to a high standard with awareness of carrying out good laboratory and safety practices.
- Maintain awareness of accreditation and regulatory standards and requirements
- Ensure samples received are processed by appropriate methods for that sample type and results are forwarded to the appropriate persons in an efficient and timely manner.
- Enter and process results and forward these to the appropriate people.
- Prior laboratory experience in an IANZ certified laboratory is desirable.
- A microbiology or equivalent qualification is preferred for the role.
- A sound knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements and laboratory practices
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in word and excel.
- Experience working as part of a laboratory team.
