About us
We’ve been working around the Queenstown area for the past 6 years. We are a local Queenstown garden and landscape company that pride ourselves on the great work we do for our customers across the Queenstown District.
We are a team full of variety, from fully qualified experienced members of staff, to those looking to develop new skills and experiences, making the Queenstown experience even more memorable.
What is the role?
We are expanding our team in time for Queenstown Spring and Summer seasons, and are seeking Landscape Gardeners to join us for the upcoming opportunities.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who doesn’t mind working in a physical environment and is able to communicate clearly. We spend our time working outdoors with tasks ranging from regular lawn and garden maintenance through to residential and commercial landscaping - no two days are the same.
Gardening experience is preferred, but we appreciate not everyone has this! We provide full training that includes; landscaping and gardening skills, equipment use, and safe handling processes.
We work Monday to Friday, with an 8:00am start and a finish time of 5:00pm most days (seasonal).
Qualifications & experience

• Gardening experience is preferred, however a keen attitude and strong willingness to learn goes a long way;
• Having excellent communication skills are important to us;
• You are able to thrive in team environment and will add value to our team;
• To have excellent attention to detail and the initiative to solve problems;
• To be fit & healthy, ready for physical work.

This is a fixed term role, but with the potential of becoming permanent.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Temp to perm
Contract length: 9 months
Pay: $23.50 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Queenstown, Otago: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Dirvers Licence (Required)
• Visa that allows you to work in New Zealand? (Required)
