Are you a Lifeguard or interested in becoming one? We have an opening for a Lifeguard, for a minimum of 8 hours per week on a fixed-term basis, starting mid to late October 2024 and running through to 29 March 2025!
As a Lifeguard, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our pool visitors. You’ll need to be vigilant, proactive, and ready to respond to any situation. Your role will involve patrolling the pool area in accordance with Pool Safe standards whilst providing top notch service to our customers. You’ll also be operating pool equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with setup and pack-down for events and other activities.
While experience is preferred, we may consider hiring an enthusiastic individual who enjoys a team-based, fun environment and is eager to learn. Please note, trainee candidates need to be 16 years of age and over, have strong communication skills, and be confident swimmers.
Our pool operates between 6am and 7pm Monday to Friday, 11am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and 10.30am to 6pm during school holidays, with some shifts potentially extending slightly beyond closing for pool duties. Our team members work according to a roster which is provided at least two weeks in advance. We are seeking someone who has flexibility to work on different days of the week, and during school holiday periods.
