Administration Support Officer – Community and Strategy Group

If you’re a multi-tasking whizz, experienced administrator, and are ready to hit the ground running – this is the role for you!
Waimate District Council is looking for an Administration Support Officer to join our busy Community and Strategy team, based at the Event Centre.
This is a permanent position working 20 hours per week. This role could be performed as 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday or 5 hours per day across four days of the working week.
Reporting to the Community and Strategy Group Manager, the main responsibilities of this role will be to assist this manager in all things administration.
Responsibilities of the role include:

Local Government Election administration
Collating and writing reports
Coordination of Council performance measure reporting, to name a few.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, who is highly organised, thrives under pressure, has an unparalleled attention to detail, and is a confident communicator.
