About the role
The Genesis LPG fleet of nearly 200 vehicles and vessels includes Exchange Trucks, Tank Trailers, ISO containers and Bobtails, and these assets are critical in our ability to deliver gas to customers. As LPG Fleet Specialist it will be your role to ensure that the fleet is fit for purpose, reliable, safe, has high availability while maintaining an appropriate cost of ownership. Some of the key responsibilities include:
  • Manage the fleet, servicing, and in-cab technology requirements to maximize lifetime value and performance.
  • Support Genesis sustainability ambitions, including introducing EV trucks to the fleet.
  • Oversee the new truck build programme with multiple suppliers.
  • Oversee asset management, proactive maintenance programs, and fleet maintenance budgets.
  • Optimize fleet servicing to minimize impact on service performance and reduce breakdowns.
  • Maintain supplier relationships for reliability and continuous improvement.
This is a permanent, full-time role based out of Hamilton CBD office and will require some travel as part of the role.
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field- engineering or technical background preferred
  • 5+ years' experience managing large fleet portfolios
  • In-depth knowledge of fleet industry strategies and regulations
  • Project management experience or significant business change exposure
